Achievement

The government has made great strides in the health sector in the last few years and has achieved significant success in improving the quality of public health services.  As part of this, the 250 Bedded General Hospital, Brahmanbaria has also undergone extensive development and success..

1.  Liquid Oxygen Plant has been set up to provide round-the-clock oxygen supply for the treatment of dementia patients.


2. The Special Care Newborn Unit (SCANU) launched to provide maximum treatment to newborns


3. The radiology department is providing open service from 8 am to 8 pm. Previously that was until one in the afternoon.


4. The pathology department is providing services from 8 am to 8 pm. Previously that was until two in the afternoon.


5. The blood transfusion department is providing 24-hour service which was earlier till 8 pm.


6. An ICU ambulance has been added to our ambulance fleet with the help of Government of India.


7. Separate isolation unit for corona treatment and corona testing have been arranged.  Corona epidemic which was a blessing for our Brahmanbaria people.A


8. A permanent center has been set up to conduct corona vaccination activities.


9. In the afternoon shift, another medical officer has been assigned to perform the duties indoors along with the medical officer of the emergency department. As a result, the emergency department doctor does not have to go inside the hospital to see any patient. The emergency department will never have a doctor for him.


10. Directional signboards have been set up at various places in the hospital.


11. Cleaning staff has been appointed to keep the hospital clean and tidy 24 hours a day.
